How pricing works
Larger handyman jobs are quoted for free when the work is over $2,000 (excl. GST). Smaller repairs run off our standard price list, and a call-out fee applies for an on-site look at minor jobs — we'll confirm which applies before booking anything in.

Loose palings, sagging gates and general fence maintenance.
Deck repairs
Loose boards, minor structural fixes and general upkeep.
Gutter cleaning & repairs
Cleared, checked for damage, and minor repairs handled on the spot.
Irrigation repairs
Faulty valves, leaks and sprinkler system troubleshooting.
Pressure washing
Driveways, paths and outdoor areas cleaned back up.
Body corporate rounds
Scheduled maintenance visits covering common-area repairs.
For larger structural or specialist trade work outside general handyman scope, we can coordinate this through our contractor partners — ask when you call.

Most jobs are run by our own crew. On bigger jobs we sometimes bring in trusted contractors for specialist work — but a Hive team member is always on site with them, so it's never a stranger showing up unsupervised.

Do you do bigger renovation or building work? +
General handyman work is our focus — for larger structural or licensed trade work, we can coordinate this through our contractor partners, with a Hive team member managing the job.
Are you insured for repair work? +
Yes, we carry full public liability insurance and our team is police-checked, which matters particularly for body corporate and rental property work.
